Evidence-first student support

AI transparency record for student work

A transparency record helps a student explain how an assignment developed without turning a complicated process into a score or a verdict.

What an AI transparency record captures

Students can record the assignment, the tools or assistance they used, what they used them for, and the evidence that helps explain their process. The record keeps the student’s own context beside the work instead of asking a reviewer to guess.

  • The assignment prompt and the student’s explanation
  • AI assistance, including uncertainty or help from another person
  • Supporting notes, drafts, links, or other evidence the student chooses
  • Who can see the record and whether the student revokes access later

Private by default, shareable by choice

A record stays private until the student or authorized account holder chooses to share it. Sharing one record does not open a student’s other work, and access can be revoked. The record can also be exported or deleted.

A record is context, not a judgment

COSMIQ does not turn a record into an AI percentage, authorship label, plagiarism finding, misconduct recommendation, or intent determination. It preserves what the student says and the evidence they choose to provide so people can have a fairer conversation.

Common questions

Who controls an AI transparency record?

The record is private by default and is shared only through the product’s explicit sharing controls. The student can choose the record’s audience, revoke access, export it, or delete it.

Does the record decide whether work is original?

No. It documents assistance and context. It does not make an authorship, plagiarism, misconduct, or intent decision.
