Frequently asked questions

What is an SAT superscore?

A superscore takes your highest EBRW section and your highest Math section across all your test dates and adds them for a new total. Many colleges consider the superscore.

Are the raw-to-score conversions official?

Yes. They are transcribed verbatim from the College Board's official “Scoring Your SAT Practice Test #4” worksheet, which maps each section raw score to an official score range (lower–upper). Your section totals and superscore are exact. Note the live digital SAT is adaptive, so a real test-day score can differ from this released-form range.

Sources and methodology

The calculator totals section scores exactly. Raw-score conversion uses a released College Board practice-form range; the adaptive digital SAT can differ.
